Ale and beer measure
9 gallons = 1 firkin
2 firkin = 1 Kilderkin
2 kil = 1 barrel
1 ½ barrels = 1 hogshead
2 hogshead = 1 butt
2 butts = 1 tun

Wine measure
10 gallons = 1 anker
18 gallons = 1 runlet
42 gallons  = 1 tierce
63 gallons  = 1 hogshead
84 gallons  = 1 puncheon
2 hogshead = 1 pipe
2 pipes = 1 tun
110 gallons =  1 butt of sherry
